View Full Version : cant get my own ring tones to work

I have an I710 and everything appears right.. When I line up the summarys from one ring tone that works next to my own everything is the same yet I keep getting a general error code telling me to check my connection or baud rate...I am using a usb cable. Any ideas?

you have to go into webjal, goto prefreces (or options) and click the Connect by USB box

I would think so...some ring tones will load...but non of the ones i have created will

use the NextPimp Media Center, because they have to be in right format, and NPMC automatically fixes it for you

when compared to a ring tone that works the properties are identical

i have the same problem. all the ringtones I download from nextpimp works fine, but the ringtones i have created will not download to my phone - get the general error code telling me to check my connection or baud rate - they are set to 8000 hz 8 bit MONO

CONVERT YOUR RINGTONES TWICE DO IT ONE TIME LIKE YOU NORMALY DO AND AFTER YOU EDITED AND EVERYTHING AND YOU HAVE IT READY TO SEND IT TO YOUR PHONE CONVERT IT AGAIN YOU WILL SEE IT WILL WORK NOW

use dbpoweramp music converter is the best but dont forget to convert it twice i was going to the same problem you going thru and i came out with this idea to convert them twice and it works perfect.

I don't know why but the converting the wav file twice worked. I edited the file the way I wanted it and ran it through DB again just to convert it and it worked. thanks for the help guys...RP
