another error

i am so close
while trying to "connect to phone" using the webjal i get this error
"the application was unable to read reqired phone information. please check your cable connection and your preferences"
and yes, i did already check the cable
please help
i did do a search and found nothing

you need to go into prefrences and click Connect Via USB
