i will be receiving my 860 on wednesday can i download songs or do i have to wait or some new software i am new to this. i have been looking for ringtones for this phone but the ones on nextel doesn't actually have the people singing just the music..very new sorry what do i need to start downloading thanks for any help

the best quality mp3 settings i have found that work are: sample rate 8000hz, mono, 48 kbs, 16 bit. You can use 32kbs to save more space if you want.

I use Webjal 3.0 with the patch. I have no problems. Since the MP3 sounds just like a WAV file I will use what I have. I still need to play around with the wallpaper to get the best size. I like the way it rotates them every 5 minutes.

I just bought mine today in FL for $385.00 for an upgrade. Of course the hidden fees are there, there's a $35.00 activation fee (maybe 25 I can't remember). I'm sending out for the $50.00 rebate tomorrow. All i'm saying though is go there with that much because I almost left with just 300 like the website says and they say when I call them but they neglect to tell you that that's after the rebate and not including the activation fee.Anyway though I'm going to create some ringtones tomorrow and mess around with some things to get it working. Anyone have problems so far with the i860?

I have an i860 and I have webjal 3.0 patched and when I go to connect to the phone its saying that the phone is busy doing another operation....please try again later....Anyone have that issue....

When the phone does that try disconnecting, turn off phone. turn it back on, try it again. That usaully worked for me when it happened with the i730.

when it says that it means you have a java app running. go to java apps go to the suspended apps folder and end the susupended apps. should work after that.
