How to convert ring tones ?

My cousin is a rapper and he has a bunch of songs that I would like to put on my i830. The problem is when we try to put them on the phone from the computer, the bytes are crazy high numbers like in the millions. Does anyone know how to compress them to make the bytes around 200,000. And I'm not trying to put the whole song on the phone, just 2 bars of the hook and like half a verse.

No I know how to find them on the loader. It's the NPMC that I can't find the songs on. Do the songs have to be converted to a specific format before the NPMC can reconize them? Sorry but I'm dumb when it comes to computers.

check out www.download.com they have alot of programs, just look through the programs, check out the user reviews and how many people have downloaded the program, thats how you can tell something is good. Also look for freeware, so you dont have to pay nothing for it, let me know if you cant find anything and ill do a quick search for you.
