OS: Windows XP Pro SP2
.Net 1.1
127.0.0.1 localhost
error writing to host file? it's in the right location, why can't it be written to?
System.UnauthorizedaccessException to C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts is denied
Anyone know what the deal is?

hey Xx3bllr3xX i had the same problem as teddy(the problem with reading the host when u press laod interceptor)i read this and took u advice and got the service pack 1 but it still doesnt work

yeah me too i did the same and still keep seeing that error
there was a error writing you HOST file.
Please contact Nextpimp Beta Support and referance your error:
System.Unauthorizedaccesexception:
Acces to the path "C\windowa\system32\drivers\ect\hosts" is denied.
At system.IO._Error.winIoError(int32error code,string str)
at system.IO.File.Delete(string path)
At HTTPS.form1.start()

Iam having this problem too. I have downloaded SP1 and it still doesn't work.

i have sp1 and sp2 and have followed instructions on putting the path fix on the host file, but still nothing works

i got it too work......... go here C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers.......right click on etc. file and go to properties, uncheck read only, then apply, then try it again...thats what i did and it all works now
