npmc error

when I start the npmc I try to start the loader interceptor and I get this error

there was a error writing you HOST file.
Please contact Nextpimp Beta Support and referance your error:
System.Unauthorizedaccesexception:
Acces to the path "C\windowa\system32\drivers\ect\hosts" is denied.
At system.IO._Error.winIoError(int32error code,string str)
at system.IO.File.Delete(string path)
At HTTPS.form1.start()

and I have no idea what I need to do to fix it. I have already downloaded
SP1,SP2
net framework or what ever that was
webjal patch, I dont think that matters for npmc
and Im running windows XP
now if anyone can help please do.

It seems like an read/write permissions, try looking at the folder properties. Just a guess, I dont know much about media center

i downloaded npmc but it keeps sayin error (0xc0000135) Click ok to terminate the it won't let me open it up how do i fix this.
