having the same problems "error writing to host files&q

i have windowes xp and i downloaded the net 1.1 thing from micrsoft and now my media player opens but when i click start loader intercepter it says "there was an error writing your host file" i cant seem to fix it its really getting me mad because i just spent thirty dollars i exspect the program to work, can someone please help me so i can get the web jal to work, because the load intercepter is not woprking it is causing my web jal to read "failed to authenticate" when i click log in right???????????

Many of us are having this problem, and no one seems to give a full explained solution. I'm having this issue too.
