:( SOMEONE PLEASE PLEASE HELP! When i download ringtones and wallpaper on my phone it works perfectly fine but i tried doing it on my dads phone and ive done it before and it worked, but this time when i download them a window pops up and says "The application was unable to read the required phone information. Please check your cable connection and your prefereces. Click retry to try again or Cancel to stop." What do i do?? :?

try umpluging the cable and shut off your dads phone then reopen it and plug in the cable and try again...it happened to my phone and when i shut it off and retried it worked see if it works for you too

the other thing make sure that the cable is securely plugged into the phone, on my brother's phone i have to hold the plug into the phone for some reason for it to work.

I have the same problem, sometimes I get that message, sometimes it works. Whats really wrong and how do I fix it?

goto the options and select USE USB

ya.. make sure u checked off usb and make sure ur motorola usb modem is installed correctly

shut everything off. Phone and Computer. If your computer has more than one usable usb connection move the cable to another spot. Unplug the cable turn the computer on. Wait 5 minutes. Then plug the cable into the phone turn the phone on then plug the cable into the usb port on your computer. Open the program you are using. Goto OPTIONS make sure that USB is selected try to load.
