Another fix for webjal

It has come to my attention that some spyware programs can change the registry location of the host file. when they do that, any of the webjal patches and even the fix won't work.

I stood up all night because i couldn't figure out why my desktop wouldn't work with webjal, but my laptop would.

Apparently it was old spyware i had erased. It still had a hold on some registry keys.

So if you guys have tried the patch, and tried the fix...

i was upset, primarily because i couldn't get the i930 version of webjal to work.

i'm having a slight problem, i had webjal up and running for about a week or two, and now when i start it up it tells me my password doesn't match the u/n. i installed the patch correctly when i first installed the program, but now it's giving me this message and i'm really confused at this point. Any help is appreciated

i am having a problem with webjal.
i can login fine.
when i try to connect to the phone i get the following message: The application was unable to find a phone attached. Please check you cable connection and your preferences. Click Retry to try again or Cancel to stop.

I checked the cable is fine. my preferences are as they should be.
why wont it work. is there a certain webjal program for the I760?

Make sure the USB box is checked under preferences/setup for webjal....

ok... i tried the patch.. no go... it says that little error 70 bs, I followed the directions you gave for error 70. I'm the administrator and the host file is not checked read-only... it STILL won't work

But, WebJal is installed without the patch and I'm getting the Failed to Authenticate with the server. So I tried your little 300 step thing and I couldn't even get past step 5.5 because nowhere in whole system/etc place do I even have a hosts file. The only file that has host on it is lmhost so I checked that in notepad, and no where in that file does it say idenupate.motorola.com

So I looked at this fix, downloaded the host.reg thing... it did NOT work!!!

What the F*CK is wrong with my webjal thing!?

And if any of you guys want to be d*cks about this and direct me to a 4th f*ckin fix for the same problem then I just might come to your house and hurt you... I tried to fix this problem for about 2 hours, I'm horrible with computers, and it's time that this n00b gets spoon fed so ready your gerber cuz I'm hungry for knowing why this isn't working!!

I Can not figure out how to get webjal to work. I don't know how to get the patchers to work eather. Can you PIMPS Help? It keeps telling me that my log in name and password are not found on the surver. Or if nextpimp provided my with a name and password for webjal. I wouldent know it.

First this thread although it has the word webjal in it is the wrong thread for your problem. Secondly you don't need a patch just download the nextpimp mediacenter. Third webjal doesn't have a name and password you just leave them blank. Where did you download webjal from.

Ive used webjal for almost a year now and never experienced a problem, my computer caught a bunch of viruses and i had to clean it out, now I downloaded webjal again and did everything right but now when i go to log in it tells me that the username was not found in the database so unlike b4 now i HAVE to put in a username and password but nothing works....ive searched ridiculously the past 3 days and have come up with nothing in forums and guides from numerous websites

Personally I would redo the machine "reload the os" back up all your files and start over. Even though you think the virus's are gone the residual affects are always going to be there. I have been spending the past 3 days working on 3 of my computers. just to get one to work with Webjal. "long story but basically spring cleaning at this point"
If you have gone through all the motions and you have dine everything you could think of stop beating yourself up and just reload the computer. Most pc's come with rescue or restore disks.
Good luck. Oh and make sure if you have any anti virus or firewall software that they are not set to block the program

yeah u could trying in clean up ur computer then try going to harrythompson.com in find the download link then install it
then u should be good togo from their but after u download
it make sure u go into IDENWEBJAL IN LOGIN THEN CLICK OK

The File is a all in one set up for webjal, click on the download and it should automaically install webjal & patcher so i don't know what problem your having?

ok when you extrackt the files aka host i belave it says all and i clcik all but only one gets dleted not all the host and i patched it and all that stuff i used the new one the old one and im doing it right so i dotnno what eles to do
