Webjal problems

i need to know what the problem is whenever i start webjal and connect my phone and every thing is ready to go , i find the ringtone that i need and click the transfer button. after it completes it tells me that there is a connection error, i go to my phones and modems , and notice there where once iden modem appeared on com 3 now says it is not present. so i went through the steps to delete it and attach my usb cable back to the phone , it finds the modem and puts it on com3 , but when i go back to put a ringtone on my phone it switches back to not present , HOW DO I FIX THIS. Well, first off the first and easiest way to know if its going to work is by simply connecting your phone to the computer. when youo connect it make sure your speakers are on and you should hear a ring sound. look at your lower right side of ur screen and somethin should pop up saying somethin about a usb. jus click it n follow da steps. if this doesnt work im me on AIM @ DannyLES44

OK , I logged in. but, now it tells me that,the application was unable to read the required phone information. i checked my cableconnections it all connected ok. (i have an i860) what's the problem here?

I had the same problem when downloading mp3 formats but wav worked just fine. Try to either use something to convert the ringtone or use one from nextpimp that is already in wav format. hope that helps.

you dont have anything better to do then try and look or sound cool! That reply had everything to do with the thread. I had the same problem using mp3 format, but it never happened when using wav. I have been with nextel for 13 years and have always had the most recent phones, (paid very little to nothing for the upgrades). I am far from a newbey to nextel.

Alright my bad I thought that was a personal attack on me, I didnt know that this guy cant find his way around the site. Maybe we both could have handled that a little better. So any ways watch how you speek to me and I will have the same respect.

I have a Nextel i580. I am using Webjal (version R01.01.05). I connect to the phone and as soon as the download is complete, I get the following message:

"A general communication error occured while communicating to the phone. Please verify the connection between the computer, phone and cable as well as your preference settings. In addition, you may try setting the phone Baud Rate to 19200"

The Baud Rate is at 19200. All files are wav files. All connections are fine. Whats the problem?

I am using PowerMP3 WMA Converter (version 3.51) to convert mp3's to wav files.

He said I needed to the right bandwidth. He never stated how, even after a PM he did not respond. This is all that prevents me from using Webjal and its driving me nuts. Would you allow me to start a seperate thread to get my question answered?

try to download 3 ringtones from the site and put them on your phone using webjal. all other ring tone questions should be placed in the ring tone section better yet read thru the ring tone guides section. the answer about convertin is there!

my webjal works fine...i've been using it for a while, but i was wondering if there was a way to use it if i'm NOT connected to the internet...i've paid for the nextpimp media center but i'm waiting until my account is set to premium member before i can download it...until then can webjal be used OFFLINE??? if so, how?
