i loaded webjal and the patch/usb driver for it...
i plug the cable into the phone.."device attached" poped on and off 2-3 times
for like 2-3 seconds then cuts off...but for sum reason webjal isnt pickin up the phone thru the usb...is there sumthing else that i need to download? like a interceptor or sumthing?

i tryed to check the lil usb box in the preffrences but it sez make shure you have the usb drivers in the computer...which is one fo the first or second ones that i loaded...do this work wit the i450 ?

it does work with the i450..but if you cant check the usb box then its for sure its not gonna work.
Go to Start/Control Panel/Printers and Other hardware/Phone and Modem Options/Modems
Now you should see Motorola Iden Usb Modem if its installed..when you see it hit properites and then advanced...to change the com ports around I usally pick 1 or 3 just my fav numbers for this..1st remove all usb modems and then just re-install, keep restarting your computer and plugging you cord in and out of your phone. You just have to "mess" with it.

u mite have 2 re-download the usb drivers from www.harrythomson.com (http://www.harrythomson.com). but be4 u do dat u gotta delete da old 1z den install da new 1z
Okay my usb cable is installed why am I still haveing a problem. Can somone please help me

ya my connection isnt working eather. ive reloaded the drivers many times and restarted my comp and i just cant get it to work. whenever i go into webjal it just wont conect to my phone. if anyone has any ideas to help thatd be awesome. thanks.

whenever i try to conect to the phone it says the application was unable to read the required phone information. please check your cable and connection, and preferences. I've been through this a few times and i followed the directions on harrythompson.com. then i go into device manager and delete the "unknown hardware" then i reload the usb driver and restart the computer. but when i start it up it nuthin pops up sayin it recognizes new hardware. its just the same thing over and over. i appreciate the help. thanks

I get the SAME error. Mine is due to Media Center 2005, though...but I got it to work the FIRST time I installed the USB drivers and Webjal w/ the patch. Now, I get that wonderful little error msg...:rolleyes:

when i got an error from my computer, the new hardware wuz Motorola USB Modem #2. i spent an hour looking for teh software. later i just reDL'd the USB Installation, and installed it again. after taht the wire worked fine.

Can somebody help me i downloaded webjal and the path and everything i'm good to go but when i click connect phone there is a message that says usb not present.So i cancelled out of webjal and i pluged the usb cord back in then it reads that it's present can somebody help me cuz it's driving me crazy
