Summary: does not work as I hoped
Comment: I was looking for some way to use my old phone's headset with my new phone.  The new phone is a DARE so it has a larger opening that is actually meant for a pair of regular stereo headphones to listen to music.  I thought that I would be able to use this adapter so use the headset that I was using previously, but it will not work.  I'm not exactly sure why it will not work - the size thing works, but when I use the headset I can hear the other person fine, but the mic does not work.  I just want to warn you that if you are looking for an adapter for a dare for a phone mic/headset combo this will not work.  It is my second such adapter I've tried.  I wonder if it's because the dare is an LG product and this is meant for motorola?

Comment: This adapter works perfectly. I have an LG Voyager and I have no problems with this adapter. It does what it's supposed to do and the sound quality is great. I definitely recommend this little thing.

Comment: Got it thinking it was a generic adapter & would work with a Blackberry. No such luck.  Only works on Motorola.  I imagine it works okay, but cannot find out.
