The universal charger has an easy 3 step charging process. 1. Secure the battery using the clip; attach the contact pins to both polarities of the battery. If the polarity confirmation LED is not on, flip the polarity switch. 2. Plug into the wall power outlet. The charging indicator LED will turn on. 3. Unplug the charger when the battery full LED is turned on.
This replacement battery has an integrated microchip that prevents overcharging and lengthens battery life.
The battery operation time depends on conditions such as: Transmitting power level, Signal (distance between the phone and the base station), Network parameters defined by the operator
This battery door fits over the Extended Lithium Battery, protects the phone and holds the battery in place.

Summary: Cheap, you get what you pay for
Comment: You do get an original Motorola battery; the charger leaves a bit to be desired. The box appears to be written entirely in Chinese? and no instructions are supplied. My charger came in two pieces, the front and back half having separated in the shipping envelope on it's trip to me. It's really not a bad price for a charger and a battery, just don't expect much and you won't be dissatisfied.

The universal charger is compatible with any battery of mobile phones/digital cameras/PDAs and digital camcorders with an output of 4.3V or lower and under 2,000 mAh capacity. It is light weight and compact, perfect for travelling and is equipped with a high functional switch power supply and microcomputer chip that controls charging and discharging procedure. Original Battery Back Door does not fit with this battery.
